CTET will host a discussion to welcome faculty to meet the specialists on campus ready to assist with creating a more accessible teaching and learning community. We will discuss how many teams on campus, including DSS and the new Universal Access Hub, work together to bring more equitable education to all students. There will be a short presentation by a panel of speakers followed by a Q&A session.
We aim to educate faculty on the resources available to them to ensure their online/blended course materials are equitable for all students and to answer questions like: “Which department do I reach out to when I need to find accessible materials?” or “Who do I go to when I need to remediate files for class?” or “How can I help further this initiative on campus?”.
We want to put faces with our names so faculty feel more comfortable reaching out and bring awareness to this effort and resources on campus.
