Did you know that over half of all Canvas access at SSU is from mobile phones? Or that many of our students don't actually own their own computer? To support the students that we have, we need to make sure that our digital course materials are mobile-friendly! To support that, CTET has planned a series of workshops on Mobile-First Learning, facilitated by Dr. Laura Good, the CSU Apple Professional Learning Specialist.
For the first session in our Mobile-First Learning Series, Dr. Good will explore mobile first learning through the lens of universal design. You’ll learn how to leverage mobile technologies for accessibility in order to support different student learning challenges in your courses. You’ll also consider how device features can support your own learning and productivity needs.
For the best experience, we recommend that you bring a mobile device with you such as a tablet or mobile phone. However, you are welcome to attend with just your laptop computer, as well. All operating systems are welcome!
