This workshop (led by Dr. Sandy Ayala) will cover what is ChatGPT, how it's being used by students and teachers, address issues around equity/access/plagiarism, and more.
This workshop will cover the following topics:
- What is ChatGPT
- How is it being used by students
- How is it being used by teachers
- Equity, Access and Plagiarism
- US Department Recommendations
- Best Practice for Prompting
- Examples of Excellent Prompting
- Real Time Modeling of Prompting
- Citation of AI
- Teaching Students Appropriate Use and Inappropriate Use of AI
This workshop is being presented by Dr. Sandy Ayala.
This is a brown bag lunchtime event. The time is 12pm- 2pm but feel free to stay as long or short as you need. You are welcome to bring a friend but this workshop will focus on the specific needs of the school of education. If you have questions: ayalas@sonoma.edu
