ChatGPT Workshop for School of Education Faculty

This workshop (led by Dr. Sandy Ayala) will cover what is ChatGPT, how it's being used by students and teachers, address issues around equity/access/plagiarism, and more.

This workshop will cover the following topics:

  • What is ChatGPT
  • How is it being used by students
  • How is it being used by teachers
  • Equity, Access and Plagiarism
  • US Department Recommendations
  • Best Practice for Prompting
  • Examples of Excellent Prompting
  • Real Time Modeling of Prompting 
  • Citation of AI
  • Teaching Students Appropriate Use and Inappropriate Use of AI

This workshop is being presented by Dr. Sandy Ayala. 

This is a brown bag lunchtime event.  The time is 12pm- 2pm but feel free to stay as long or short as you need.  You are welcome to bring a friend but this workshop will focus on the specific needs of the school of education.   If you have questions: ayalas@sonoma.edu
