Join us in unpacking highlights from the recent 2025 OpenAI Higher Education Forum, where Sonoma State joined other global leaders to discuss AI, pedagogy, research, and digital equity. The session will spotlight innovative approaches shared by institutions like Kenyon University, UCLA, and North Carolina Central University, exploring how AI is transforming teaching, research, and campus operations. In addition to key takeaways from the Forum, we’ll report on what’s new in the world of AI in higher education from Canvas’s Google Gemini/NotebookLM integration, Perplexity’s Comet Browser, and ChatGPT’s Agent Mode. This workshop aims to be an opportunity for those interested in understanding where higher education is heading, and how Sonoma State can continue to lead in exploring AI to enhance creativity, equity, and learning.
