Adobe for All

Adobe is offering SSU a grant of up to $30,000 to fund projects that use Adobe Express as part of first-year writing courses or high DFW GE courses between March 2026 and May 2027. The acceptable uses of the money include faculty assigned time, faculty stipends, student assistant costs, and curriculum development (but not computer hardware). The deadline for us to submit our proposal is March 2. You can learn more at the CSU Adobe for All website.

If you are teaching or expect to teach one of the above-mentioned course types during the grant term and you’d like to participate, we’d like to include your project as part of our grant package. We plan to host three discussion/info sessions at CTET, both in-person and via Zoom. Please check our Workshops page for the exact times and dates.

Per the terms of the grant call: Faculty across all disciplines are encouraged to participate in this opportunity to incorporate Adobe Express into their teaching, enhance the student learning experience and help students build the creative, digital and AI competencies essential for future workforce success in full alignment with the CSU Student Success Framework. Proposed projects must focus on first-year writing course sections and/or high-enrollment courses with elevated DFW rates. Proposals must include:

• A clear project rationale tied to student success and improving equitable outcomes;
• A defined hypothesis regarding student impact;
• Aligned data-collection and evaluation plans; and
• A commitment to frictionless Adobe Express access for students.
