This two-day intensive guides faculty through both the critical observations in The Opposite of Cheating, by Tricia Gallant and David Rettinger, and the pedagogical implications of AI tools like ChatGPT, NotebookLM, and others. Participants will engage with academic integrity challenges, experiment to understand generative AI's impact on their course materials, and collaboratively revise course assignments. The goal is to generate a draft of revised course materials alongside a brief synthesis of learning and reflection.
