Accessible Content Partnership (ACP)
Accessible Content Partnership
Accessible course materials benefit all students, not just those with accommodations. Yet, for many faculty, remediating content- especially PDFs- adds extra work to already full schedules. That’s where CTET’s Accessible Content Partnership (ACP) comes in.
ACP helps faculty improve course material accessibility without disrupting teaching. CTET identifies content needing remediation, fixes it, and notifies faculty when it’s ready.
Over 100 SSU faculty have partnered with CTET to enhance accessibility. We’d love to work with you too, reach out today!
ACP Learning Objectives
- Identify faculty members and courses for the ACP program.
- Obtain consent from faculty members to begin accessibility remediation.
- Communicate to the faculty member when accessibility work has started and which CTET staff will complete the remediation.
- Remediate course content to more closely meet Universal Design for Learning (UDL) standards that also complies with Federal Accessibility Regulations.
- Communicate to the faculty member when accessibility remediation is complete.
